Advice for building in Chichawatni
Many plots in Hayat Abad, Civil Lines, Housing Colony and Model Town are near the canal system. The ground can hold water, so the base needs care.
- Compact the soil well and use a proper damp-proof course (DPC) with anti-termite spray.
- Get your naqsha passed by the Municipal Committee / TMA. This makes the WAPDA and Sui Gas connections easier.
- Check the Fard and the plot boundary before you start any work.
If you want a local team to manage the work, see our house construction service in Chichawatni.
Common questions
These are the questions people ask us most about this topic.
Can I build a 5 marla house for less than Rs. 97 lakh?
Yes, with B-grade finishing and simpler woodwork the finishing cost drops a lot. The gray structure cost is harder to cut.
Does this cost include the plot?
No. These figures are only for building the house. Add the plot price on top.
Should I hire a thekedar on labour rate or full contract?
Labour rate gives you more control over material quality. A full contract is easier but you must check the material yourself.
